Provenance: Gunnar Sadolin's collection inventory number 278 (stenciled on the reverse).

G. A. Sadolin was the founder of Sadolins Colour Factory. He shared his life between his work and his significant artistic interests. He had a large and valuable painting collection of older Dutch, Italian and Spanish art.
