A pair of Chinese wooden panels, the outside carved with arrangements at altars, the inside with scrolls and dragon heads. C. 1900. Each panel 28×50 cm. (2)
Provenance: Purchased by the present owner's family while working for “Store Nordiske”, the Great Nordic communications company, in China between 1917–1933.
Condition
Splits. Both panels with chips along the egdes. Damps marks. Pale areas. Wear due to age and use. Splits. Formely part of a furniture.
