A large enamelled and gilt porcelain 'Dolphin' vase, adorned with an extensive landscape prospect of the ducal Gottorp Castle in Schleswig, raised on a four-sided base with gilded ornamentation on iron-red ground. The vase type was designed by G.F. Hetsch in about 1832 with handles modeled as jumping dolphins. Manufactured circa 1924 probably on the occasion of the factory's 150th anniversary.
