An European curved saber in the French style c 1820 in its scabbard mounted in gilded brass with a lioness pommel. grip in chequered ebony, one langet with an antique warrior’s head and the other with a net pattern, c 75,5 cm long slender curved blade etched on the upper part with among others a Medusa head in a black leather scabbard with two large mounts decorated with military attributes.
