When we catalogue works of art at Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers, we are aware that some original titles may seem offensive or even hurtful when seen in a present-day context. Such titles are not an expression of Bruun Rasmussen’s own positions on the subject matter, but we choose to reproduce the original titles out of respect for the history of the artwork and the artist’s copyright.
