Einar Olsen (b. 1907, d. 1988)

Sterling silver water pitcher with hammered surface. Carved wood handle. Made and marked by Hans Hansen anno 1947. Designed 1930. Weight 532 gr. H. 14 cm.

Einar Olsen began his career as a silversmith at Georg Jensen's silversmithy. In 1930 he was employed at Hans Hansen's silversmithy, where he became the master for Karl Gustav Hansen and made sketches for his own designs.
