Ansgar Elde (b. 1933, d. Savona 2000)

Ansgar Elde lived and worked with his art in Savona on the Italian Riviera, where he spent most of his life. Ansgar Elde is famous for his ceramics, but also made paintings and prints, which he made together with Alfredo Meconni. He worked with his ceramics at Mazotti and Lorenzinni. Elde collaborated with Asger Jorn on the large ceramic work, which was produced in Albisola in Italy, and he had it transported to Aarhus by train.
Original patina. Including scratches and marks. With full deliberation on the part of the artist, there are defects in the horse.
