Literature: Lotte Thrane, “Tusmørkemesteren”, 2008, mentioned and reproduced vol. II p. 162. Lotte Thrane describes this painting togehter with another one (in Danish) “...they are - not least colouristic - wonderful.”
Provenance: The artist daughter, Edma Stage, her descendants until today.
