Karl Hansen Reistrup (b. Valby 1863, d. Copenhagen 1929)

An earthenware pitcher and bowl modelled with resp. eagle and lapwings. Decorated with resp. reddish lustre glaze and turqouise blue and black double glaze. Signed HAK. Made by Kähler. H. resp. 12.3 and 17.3 cm. Bowl: L. 27.5 cm. (2)

Condition

Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks. Glaze with scaling. Small repair on top of one lapwing's head.
