Important and famous photograph by Gerda Taro of a couple enjoying a peaceful moment in the sun during the Spanish Civil War in August 1936. This motive was also captured by Taro's colleague and lover, the world famous war photographer Robert Capa.

“it is possibly the only example of exactly the same subject photographed by both Taro and Capa from almost the same angle, in almost the same size of frame [...]The impression is that while Taro took her picture as the couple laughed, Capa has taken his moments after the laughter has finished, when a smile still remains.
