A Chinese Hu “Hundred Deer” pear shaped cloisonne enamel vase, decorated with deers and cranes amidst landscapes with trees and clouds, ruyi border at the rim and gilt brass dragon handles. 19th century. H. 49 cm.

Provenance: From a Danish diplomat who was stationed in London in the 1950s, where his Asian collection was built through purchases from antique shops and auction houses.
