Portrait of music teacher and Master of Theology Henrik Georg Clausen Swane (1818–1897). Signed and dated Dahl Dresden 17. Sept 1845 and inscribed Henrik G. C. Swane recto and verso. Also inscribed (in German) “The honourable musician Swane from Copenhagen”. Pencil on paper mounted in passepartout. Sheet size 22.5×17 cm. Unframed.
Some foxing. The paper has turned slightly brown.
