Frits Henningsen (b. 1889, d. 1965)
An early oak chest of drawers with drop-leaf bar section and brass handles. Bar with Cuban mahogany interior, and three drawers with a Cuban mahogany front inlaid with mable “a la Greque” pattern. Made 1930s by cabinetmaker Frits Henningsen, with his impressed order number on back. H. 125.5 cm. W. 107 cm. D. 46 cm.
Provenance: Made and designed by Frits Henningsen for himself, hence by descent in the family. Acquired from the estate after the daughter of Frits Henningsen.
