Laurits Tuxen (b. Copenhagen 1853, d. s.p. 1927)

Standing male nude. Signed and dated L. T. 76 and inscribed Tuxen. Pencil on paper. Visible size 62.5×44 cm.

Tuxen went to Leon Bonnat's school in Paris from December 1875 to April 1876. The drawing is very likely from this period.

Condition

A tear/repair near upper left corner. The paper has turned slightly brown and has some discolourations. A minimal hole near lower left corner. Examined in frame.
