Eduard Ludwig (b. 1906, d. 1960)
A set of three red, yellow and blue lacquered beech stools. Made by cabinetmaker Georg Haydvogel, Berlin. 1950s. (3)
Ludwig studied at the Bauhaus from 1928 and was a prefered student of Mies van der Rohe were he made his diploma in 1932 and worked in Mies' architecture office until 1937.
Condition
Wear due to age and use. Marks and scratches. Lacquering with peelings. Drying cracks.
