Miniature selfportrait of the artist in a brown coat and neck tie holding a paintbrush in his right hand. Signed and dated “ J. Möller pinx. 1838”. Gouache on bone. 8.4×6.8 cm. Oval. Mounted in period frame.

Provenance: Antiquarian Gerda Petri (1934–2020), former curator at The Royal Danish Collection, Copenhagen.

Condition

Blemishes/damp discolourations mainly along edge.
