Gottfred Eickhoff (b. Frederiksberg 1902, d. Copenhagen 1982)
Study for “Guapa”. Signed Eickhoff 42. Patinated plaster. H. 71 cm. W. 18 cm.
Derudover henviser titlen “Guapa” (Spansk: Smuk) til romanfiguren Maria, kaldet Guapa, i Ernest Hemingways berømte “For Whom the Bell Tolls” (1940).
Several larger repairs. Has been broken at the head, left arm and the base. Normal patina including scratches and small discolourations. Larger chip at the head and left arm.
