The Danish artist Emil Staggemeier (b. 1994) lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. Staggemeier is a self-taught artist who, through his artistic practice, strives to depict what he calls “the genuine human,” where all emotions are welcome. He aims to create works that exude vulnerability, openness, and strength. Staggemeier uses flowers and their symbolism alongside small figures to create motifs that often culminate in self-portraits.
Original condition.
The work is part of a charity auction to benefit “Børns Vilkår” (Children's Rights Denmark). The auction is initiated and curated by “Curated by Jens-Peter Brask”. The artists have generously donated their works. Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers do not charge fees or commission so the total proceeds will go undiminished to Børns Vilkår's important work.
