Claude Clodion (b. 1738, d. 1814)

A late 19th century gilt and patinated bronze four-light candelabre in the shape of a faunus, mounted on a white marble base. Signed Clodion. Provied with two white marble light holders, with gilt bronze mountings. H. 68 cm. (3)

Provenance: Demstrup Hovedgaard.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. One joint on one of the arms is wide. Marble base with chips.
