Acquired directly from the artist. The seller participated in the artistic happening by inserting death notices for “Røde Fane” in the media and received the glass as a thank you.
The offered glass is produced in connection with one of the most distinctive - and debated - happenings in Danish art. Similar glasses are available today in the collection at ARoS Aarhus Art Museum.
Prior to this sale, the work has been restored and preserved by the Medical Museum, University of Copenhagen. Their report is included.
