A Danish Amager silver-gilt “hovedvandsæg” vinaigrette, heart-shaped, engraved with foliage and two oval cartouches, the top with crowned medaillon, flanked by palm leaves, the back side of the medallion decorated with dove and flowers on guilloché ground, the base with rampant lions and balm-hide. Maker Andreas Mortensen Møller, Copenhagen 1802–1846. Weight 60 g. H. 11 cm.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. Medallion front with missing foil and three loose initials.
