An English striking clock in case of ebony and ebonised wood, gilt brass dial with openwork corner ornaments, the chapter ring with black Roman numerals, center with visible pendulum and calendar, the backplate richly engraved with foliage and ornamentation. Both the dial and backplate signed 'Jos Williamson, London'. England, late 17th century. H. 40 cm. W. 26 cm. D. 18 cm.
