Frits Henningsen (b. 1889, d. 1965)
An easy chair with patinated oak frame. Sides, back and seat upholstered with green velour. Made by cabinetmaker Frits Henningsen.
The chair is marked underneath with the characteristic four digits, which often is seen on Henningsen's furniture. Furthermore, Henningsen did make a wide variations of design, where oak also often was used as material. The chair is presumably made on request.
Wear due to age and use. Edgings with defects and holes. Velour with stains and dirt.
