Fritz Syberg (b. Faaborg 1862, d. Kerteminde 1939)
Portrait of the artist's daughter, Besse. Signed with monogram and dated 1912–25. Watercolour on paper laid on card board. Visible size 43 × 41 cm.
Besse Giersing (1896–1944) was Fritz and Anna Syberg's eldest daughter. In 1917, she married the painter Harald Giersing.
Provenance: Bruun Rasmussen auction 1539, 2015 no. 8551.
Some discolouration / the paper has turned slightly brown. Examined in frame.
