Two pairs of uniform French Baroque silver candlesticks, profiled nozzle, tapering and hexagon-shaped stem chased with shells, profiled-domed base with low well and lobed-fluted lower edge. Unregistered maker, Paris 1742–1743; maker Jacques-Joseph Moillet, Paris 1745–1746; four associated drip-pans, Paris 1749–1750. The former engraved with monogram on base, the latter engraved with a noble coat of arms on base, the four drip-pans engraved with the mentioned monogram. Weight 2,989 g. H. 24 cm. and 25 cm. (8)
