Børge Mogensen (b. Aalborg 1914, d. Gentofte 1972)

Very rare set of four low lounge chairs with cherry frame, back with moulded, laminated Wawona veneer cut from a California pine. Seat and front side of back upholstered with light green wool. Designed 1950. These examples made approx. 1950 by cabinetmaker Ludvig Pontoppidan. (4)

Provenance: Consigned along with lot no. 914 and 1020.

Model presented at The Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild Exhibition at Designmuseum Danmark, 1950.
