Russian silver beaker, chased with rocailles, birds and columns with fruits. Presumably Ivan Solodovnikov (1761–1775), Cyrillic assay mark VA (1760–1794), indistinct date, Moscow town mark. Weight c. 72 gr. H. 7.5 cm.
Provenance: Danish private ownership since the 1930s, where it was acquired by seller's grandfather in St. Petersburg.
Condition
Minimal wear due to age and use - few dents and marks.
