A large French mantel clock, gilt and patinated bronze with 'Rouge Griotte' marble, the case featuring the figures Psyche and Cupid based on a model by the sculptor Claude Michallon (1751–99). Empire style, second half of the 19th century. H. 92 cm. W. 57 cm. D. 27 cm.
