A Baltic Louis XVI style crystal and gilt bronze 18-light chandelier with silvered nozzels and openwork drip pans, adorned with three levels of cobalt blue glass. 19th century. H. 128 cm. Diam. 97 cm.

Provenance: The manor house Raadegaard in Næstved.

In 1961 the perfume manufacturer and art collector Mr. Ejler Ruge and his wife Lizzie Ruge bought the manor house Raadegaard. In the years to come the couple expanded their exquisite collection of antiques and paintings which this candelier was a part of.
