A Russian silver-gilt pendent Easter egg, set with an oval cabochoncut sapphire and Cyrillic XB for “Christos Voskres” (Christ is risen). Workmaster Erik Kollin in St. Petersburg, eyelet stamped 56 standard. Late 19th century. H. (incl. eyelet) 2.5 cm.
Provenance: Acquired 1995 by present owner at Serlas Unique Jewellery in Zürich.
