The British photographer Terry O'Neill (1938) has since the 1960's been an acclaimed portrait photographer of celebrities such as Elton John, Brigitte Bardot and Frank Sinatra. Several of his portraits are in the permanent collection of The National Portrait Gallery in London, including a copy of the portrait of Isabella Rossellini. In 2011 he was awarded the Centenary Medal by the Royal Photographic Society which has only been awarded 16 times in its history.
