On the Lookout for Contemporary Art

New insights into the world around us often form the backbone of some of contemporary art's most engaging works. Through different types of magic mirrors, the artists challenge the viewers to reassess what we take for granted and send our understanding of the world in new directions. On Tuesday and Wednesday next week, we will sell contemporary art that magnifies and challenges the major issues of our life time. The Live Auctions take place in Copenhagen on 27 September from 4 pm and 28 September from 2 pm – view all the lots here.

We have also begun consigning works for a new theme auction at bruun-rasmussen.dk, which will take place in the second half of October. For this auction, we are currently looking for works by established artists, but also newer and promising names from the contemporary art scenes in both Denmark and internationally.
