We Are Moving to Lyngby!
At Bruun Rasmussen, we are in the middle of a period with rapid development and have become part of an extensive global network of auction houses under Bonhams. In October, we will also be moving to our new domicile in Lyngby – a modern cultural centre where all our categories of art and expertise will be gathered in one place.
It is truly a time of change in our auction house. At Bruun Rasmussen, however, we are still deeply rooted in our history and continue to uphold the same core values of innovation, credibility and commitment. Innovation is part of our DNA and essential for us as an auction house to keep up with the times and continue to function as an important and sought-after player on the international auction market.
A New Cultural Centre in the MakingIn 2022, we entered a new era when we were bought by Bonhams, with whom we now collaborate and share knowledge with across national borders. For many years we have had our head office in Copenhagen's Nordhavn, but this autumn we will open the doors to our new modern auction house in Lyngby north of Copenhagen. This move is part of our overall strategy of being an open and accessible auction house with a focus on giving our customers the best experience possible. |
The move will take place at the beginning of October, and we invite everyone to visit us for a couple of festive days with events, drinks and music. The new auction house will be a living cultural centre with plenty of room for different perspectives and lively debates on art and culture, where you can explore among the thousands of works of art, designer furniture, antiques and collector’s items at the changing exhibitions as well as bid on the exciting auctions. You can also meet our specialists, have valuations made of your own items, consign items for auction, listen to interesting presentations and participate in cultural events. |
Online and Live Auctions in Lyngby
In connection with the opening of the new auction house in Lyngby, we also bid farewell to the historic premises of our saleroom in Bredgade, Copenhagen, where the final Live Auction will take place in September. Our new domicile will function as the scene for both the daily Online Auctions and six annual Live Auctions. Until October, we will continue to be based in Copenhagen's Nordhavn, where we are open daily for valuations, consignments and will invite you to look through our preview. We will keep our branches in Aarhus and Glostrup, where we are also ready to help with a good purchase or sale. Follow the moving process at bruun-rasmussen.dk and in our newsletter, where we will keep you updated about the domicile in Lyngby and send you an invitation to the opening week. |
