On the Lookout for Contemporary Art

Contemporary art is becoming a larger and larger part of our auctions. For an online theme auction in March 2024 we are currently looking for artwork by already established artists from the contemporary art scenes in Denmark and abroad.

We’re seeing a growing interest in both buying and selling contemporary art at auction. With the themed auction we want to show that there are good finds to be made and good contemporary art to be purchased at auction. The contemporary art market is largest in metropolises such as New York, London and Paris. However, interest is also being shown here in what Denmark has to offer. Increasing interest means increasing prices. At Bruun Rasmussen, we focus on both established artists and new, up-and-coming artists.”
