Charity Auction: Support the Designers of the Future
Support the designers of the future at a charity auction we are presenting in collaboration with six Danish design companies. Bid on the six design classics online until 24 January.
Six Danish design companies have donated some beautiful pieces of furniture, which you can now get your hands on at a charity auction on Tuesday 24 January at 7 pm at bruun-rasmussen.dk. The six designer pieces have been donated by Fritz Hansen, Carl Hansen & Søn, LYFA, Verpan, Louis Poulsen and MarmoMarmo. The proceeds of the auction will be donated in full to support Designmuseum Danmark’s educational programmes in 2023.

Support Designmuseum Danmark’s Educational ProgrammesThe charity auction will support Designmuseum Danmark’s educational programmes throughout 2023. The museum’s educational programmes give children and young people the opportunity to be involved in actual design processes – based on the museum’s current exhibitions, which range from historical design to the design of the future. The educational programmes introduce new generations to the basic tools of Danish design and the entire design memory bank that shapes the design understanding of the future. The museum offers schools and educational institutions a unique setting for practice-oriented courses. |
Bid on Danish DesignThe auction gives you the opportunity to bid on six pieces of Danish designer furniture. In the lamp section, we have Poul Henningsen’s “PH-3/2” table lamp made by Louis Poulsen, Simon P. Henningsen’s “Divan 2, 160” pendant lamp from LYFA and Verner Panton’s “Spiegel” table lamp made by Verpan. You can also bid on a Vilhelm Lauritzen chair from Carl Hansen & Søn, Poul Kjærholm’s “PK-0” chair from Fritz Hansen and the “Zeh” coffee table by ANOUR from MarmoMarmo. |
