Bid on an Auction During Your Easter Holiday

Easter is upon us, and we have collected a selection of art and design from our Online Auctions for you to explore during the public holiday.

After you have blown out eggs and written teaser letters, you might want to spend some time immersing yourself in a world of art and design. In this article, you can find inspiration in a few highlights with art and design from the auctions that take place on 10 and 11 April, respectively.

Figurative and Abstract

Dive into our auction with modern art, which features paintings and prints by artists from modern art history and up until today's contemporary artists. Among other artists, you can bid on Egon Mathiesen's colourful female motif, Ebba Carstensen's bright harvest painting or Knud Nielsen's concrete composition.

Ceramic Art

Our design auctions always offer high-quality Danish design and decorative art that can provide both an aesthetic and historical addition to your home. At this auction you can find, among other objects, beautiful stoneware by Eva Stæhr-Nielsen, Edith Sonne and Malene Müllertz as well as a table lamp with a fine woven shade and a set of three nesting tables by a Danish cabinetmaker.

Apples, Berries and Candy

If we go back a little further in the history of art at the auctions this Easter, you will find various paintings with motifs of both the city and nature. Among them, we can highlight a candy stall by Peter Hansen as well as nature motifs by Nicoline Tuxen and Agnes-Slott Møller.
