Live Stamp Auction in Copenhagen

On Tuesday 10 November, we will open the doors to this year's largest stamp auction, where we present the first part of Flemming Borch Jensen's collection of Danish “squares” and Kaj Erik Ullerup's collection of Frederik VIII stamps. Due to COVID-19, you have to reserve a visit for both the preview and the auction and remember to wear a mask.

The keywords for the upcoming Live Stamp Auction are rarity, quality and originality. It has been many years since we last saw such a large and wide selection of philatelic rarities, classic stamps in exquisite quality and not least a wealth of original collections and lots, almost all presented intact and untouched.

Unique Danish Collections

We are especially proud to be able to present the first part of the recently deceased Flemming Borch Jensen's impressive collection of classic Danish “squares”. He was one of Denmark's most dedicated and experienced philatelists, and his collection has been established over the past 40-50 years. It contains a wealth of stamps and covers in exceptionally high quality. Another well-known philatelist is Kaj Erik Ullerup, and his collection of Frederik VIII editions stands as the finest collection that has probably ever been created within this popular field of interest. A large number of letters and postcards from the collection by Jens Meedom are also included in this auction.

The preview, like the auction, will take place on Baltikavej 10 in Nordhavn from 4-9 November between 10 am and 5 pm and on the day of the auction from 8 am.
