Time for a Sale at Auction?

At Bruun Rasmussen, you can easily get a free valuation of your artwork, design classics, rare antiques and collector's items - either online or by visiting one of our branches in Aarhus or Copenhagen.

Right now, we are looking for items for our three types of auctions – Live Auction, Online Auction and Direct Auction. The range in value is wide – we sell items with estimates from DKK 800 and up to many millions at our auctions.

Your Valuation Options

Do you own items that you are considering selling at auction? You are welcome to visit one of our branches, where we are ready to give you a free estimate and advise you on an auction sale. View addresses and opening hours.

If you prefer to use our online valuation service, this can easily be done at bruun-rasmussen.dk. Simply upload photos and a description of your items, and you will have the estimate within two business days.

Please note that the whole process from valuation to shipment can take place from your own home via our newest auction type, which we call Direct Auction. Read more about Direct Auction here.

Selling at Auction

If you decide after the estimate that you would like to try a sale at our auctions, you can come by one of our branches and consign the item for auction – or we can help you with the shipment via PostNord or another carrier. We always find the best and least expensive solution for you.

The deadline for consigning items at an Online Auction or a Direct Auction is ongoing, while the deadline for consignments to the upcoming Live Auction in Copenhagen is:

  • Art and antiques from Russia and Asia: 8 October
  • Antique and modern decorative art: 14 October
  • Wristwatches: 19 October
  • Antique furniture, carpets and bronzes: 19 October
  • Jewellery: 22 October
  • Fine art, prints and drawings: 26 October
  • Modern art and design: 2 November

This Live Auction is the largest of the year in Copenhagen, and besides the regular categories such as art, design, antiques, jewellery and wristwatches we are also placing a spotlight on CoBrA art, decorative art from Asia and Russia and works by female artists from the 1800s.
