Decorate with Artistic Christmas Ornaments and Support the “Hus Forbi” newspaper

A total of 24 creative Christmas ornaments made by 24 different artists will be auctioned off at the event. Kunsthal Aarhus will promote a new artwork each day on social media up until the auction. You can bid on all the works as they are revealed – and the hammer will subsequently fall at Kunsthal Aarhus on Wednesday 18 December from 4:15 pm. Peter Beck, Head of Valuation at Bruun Rasmussen in Aarhus, will act as auctioneer at the event.

The artists who have contributed with the Christmas ornaments to the auction include:

Bjørn Nørgaard, Andreas Führer, FOS, Hanne Nielsen & Birgit Johnsen, Iben West, Jens Settergren, Jeppe Hein, Jesper Fabricius, Jette Gejl, Julie Stavad, Katja Bjørn, Kim Grønborg, Lars Worm, Lea Guldditte Hestelund, Lene Desmentik, Louise Sparre, Nat Bloch Gregersen, Pernille Kapper Williams, Rose Eken, Simon Dybbroe Møller, Tal R, Tanja Nellemann, Ditte Gantriis, Stine Deja and Jakob S. Boeskov.

The artists will receive a small honorarium from Kunsthal Aarhus for their contributions. All proceeds from the auction will go to the “Hus Forbi” newspaper, and Bruun Rasmussen will not charge any buyer’s premium or seller’s commission in connection with the auction.
