For the third year in a row, we set our sights on Denmark's northernmost point with the grand themed auction “Northern Light – The Artists’ Colony at Skagen.” Here, we present a unique selection of works by all the renowned Danish painters who at the end of the 19th century gathered at Skagen and established the famous artist colony.

The best-known names in the colony were the Danish painters Peder Severin Krøyer, Michael Ancher, Laurits Tuxen, Holger Drachmann, Anna Ancher, Viggo Johansen, Carl Locher, Marie Krøyer, the Norwegian Christian Krohg and the Swede Oscar Björck.

We are currently seeking works by all these artists for the themed Live Auction in May as well as for a follow-up Online Auction.
