Themed auction: Pioneering women artists

We’re unfurling the banners of the female artists in March at a Live Auction and Online Auction entitled “Pioneering women artists in Denmark”. For these auctions, we’re currently on the lookout for art, decorative art and design by female artists and designers who were part of the Danish art scene from 1850–1950.

Interest in the female pioneers of the art world has never been greater, which is reflected in the increasing demand on the auction market and the many record-breaking hammer prices.

The “Pioneering women artists in Denmark” auction is the result of a close collaboration in Bonhams’ network. The works will be marketed across the network’s many platforms to thousands of passionate collectors all over the world. This will allow us to achieve the market’s highest hammer prices, benefiting you as a seller.
