If you have particularly valuable items or large collections, we’re also happy to visit you at home for a valuation. 

The Highest Hammer Prices of the Year So Far

The first half of 2024 has produced several million-kroner hammer prices and other high jumpers on fine art and modern art, design classics, rare antiques and diamond jewellery as well as bags and wristwatches from the world’s leading brands. Our auctions are in high demand among passionate collectors all over the world.  

  • P.S. Krøyer: “Tre på Skagens Sønderstrand” (Three Fishermen on Skagen Sønderstrand). Hammer price: DKK 2.85 million.
  • Axel Salto: “Den Tingene iboende Kraft” (The Inherent Power of Things). Hammer price: DKK 2.1 million
  • Michael Ancher: “Redningsbælterne spændes på” (The Life Belts Are Fastened). Hammer price: DKK 1.5 million.
  • Wilhelm Bendz: The artist’s self-portrait. Hammer price: DKK 1.4 million.
  • P.S. Krøyer: “Nøgen dreng” (Nude Boy). Hammer price: DKK 1 million.
  • P.S. Krøyer: “Fiskere ved en båd på Skagen Nordstrand” (Fishermen by a Boat on Skagen Nordstrand). Hammer price: DKK 1 million.
  • Per Kirkeby: "Magdalene in the cave". Hammer price: DKK 700,000.
  • Frits Henningsen: A rare pair of wingback chairs. Hammer price: DKK 700.000. 
  • Hermès: “Himalaya Birkin 30”. Hammer price: DKK 520,000.
  • Peder Moos: Unique medicine cabinet. Hammer price: DKK 450,000.
  • Urban Jurgensen: Reference 2 of 18k gold. Hammer price: DKK 300,000.
Axel salto: "The Inherent Power of Things". A rarely offered stoneware sculpture. Sold for DKK 2.1 million.
P.S. Krøyer: Three fishermen on Skagen Sønderstrand walking one behind the other dragging a boat. Sold for DKK 2.85 million – the highest hammer price of the season.
Hermès: A rare “Himalaya Birkin 30” of crocodile skin. Sold for DKK 520,000.
Wilhelm Benda: The painter's self-portrait. Sold for DKK 1,400,000.
Urban Jurgensen: Reference 2 of 18k gold. Sold for DKK 300,000.
