Time for a Sale at Auction?

Perhaps it is time to clear out your storage places and consider a sale at auction. We can provide you with a free estimate of your artwork, design classics, antiques and collectibles – either online or at one of our locations.

 

Do you have an item that you are considering selling at auction? At Bruun Rasmussen, we have two types of auctions – Online Auction and Live Auction, and we are always nearby and ready to give you a free valuation.

Several Options to receive a valuation

  • You can choose to drop by one of our locations, where we are open every weekday and Saturdays. View the opening hours.
  • If you prefer to use our online valuation service, this can easily be done at bruun-rasmussen.dk. Simply upload photos and a description of your items, and you will have the estimate within five weekdays.
  • If you have particularly valuable items or large collections, we are also happy to visit your home for a private valuation visit.
  • You are also always welcome to call us on tel.: +45 8818 1111 and have a talk with one of our specialists, who are some of the most competent and experienced on the market.

Consignment deadlines

You can always get a valuation and consign items for the daily Online Auctions. The deadlines for consignment to the next Live Auction are as follows:

  • Antique decorative art, furniture, bronzes and carpets: 24 April
  • Wristwatches: 24 April
  • Jewellerry and handbags: 26 April
  • Fine art: 1 May
  • Modern decorative art: 1 May
  • Modern art: 8 May
  • Modern design: 8 May

International Promotion

All items up for auction are exhibited at the preview at one of our departments, which attracts a large clientèle of art enthusiasts from all over the world. The items are also presented at bruun-rasmussen.dk, complete with photos and detailed descriptions written by the market’s most competent valuation specialists. In addition, the items set to go under the hammer at Live Auction are featured in a beautiful and richly illustrated auction catalogue. Our marketing and communication team working together at the auction houses in Bonhams’ network ensures targeted promotion across the globe, benefiting you as a seller, who can thus achieve the market’s highest hammer price.
