Guitar Event Featuring PATINA
On Friday 3 November at 5 pm, Bruun Rasmussen’s specialist Frederik Plum will be meeting the well-known Danish band PATINA for a chat about guitars and music. Come and listen to historic guitars in the company of Matthias, Frederik and Gregers from PATINA. Everyone is welcome. A glass of wine will be served.
Gibson and Fender guitars are renowned for their sound and played by world-famous bands such as The Beatles, The Shadows, U2, Oasis and Pink Floyd. Do you remember Grethe and Jørgen Ingmann’s “Dansevise”? Were you crazy about the Danish 80s band “Fenders”? Or are you just a bit of a geeky guitar nerd? On the occasion of the preview and Online Auction of Carl Aage Axel Laursen’s extensive guitar collection in November, there’ll be ample opportunity to see or become reacquainted with some of the most historic electric guitars – and to listen to them.
“The guitar is an important instrument in jazz, blues, rock, heavy metal and pop music, and the instrument therefore bears relevance to our times and to most musical people. Added to this are the historical interest and nostalgia. Who doesn’t have concert memories of a fabulous guitar solo?”

PATINA
The band PATINA made their foray into the Danish music scene in earnest in 2020 and were subsequently rewarded with a nomination for the radio station P3’s talent award. Their “Flammer rammer” from the début album “Drømmefanger” was the most played song on P3 throughout 2020. They have since performed at Fredagsrock in Tivoli, at Musikhuset Aarhus and at the Smukfest festival. And they’ve provided music for the “I dit korte liv” concert at Odense theatre.
Frederik and the guys from PATINA geek out on guitar. Friday 3 November from 5 pm.
