Beautiful Old DRC Wines in Fine Condition

Four exciting lots of old wines from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti are among the absolute highlights of this auction. The wines from this domain are some of the world's finest Pinot Noir based wines, and since they come in a very limited supply, they are in great demand at auctions around the world. In addition to being exceptionally delicious, deep and delicate, the wines of the DRC are also incredibly durable and repeatedly disprove the claim that wines produced with the Pinot Noir grape are unsuitable for long-term storage. If you are interested in tasting the entire domain's wine series, then you can enrich your collection with 10 bottles from the 1976 vintage, from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti.

Autumn Wine Tastings

In the autumn, we will as usual taste the most recently released vintage from Bordeaux. This time around it is the 2014 vintage. The event will take place on 19 October at the Palægade restaurant in Copenhagen in collaboration with Vinoble, represented by Philip Dyna, who will bring some of the vintage's top wines. We will of course also taste a selection of older exciting wines and get the chance to taste restaurant Palægade’s own contribution to the tasting. Everyone who follows Bordeaux and the differences in the vintages will enjoy this annual event.

On 2 November we will have another exciting tasting, but with a culinary twist added to the mix. The event will take place at Mielcke & Hurtigkarl, located in the Frederiksberg Gardens, and we begin with a tasting of more than 70 newer and older wines. Afterward, we can present a five-course dinner with accompanying top wines. The wine list has been put together especially for this tasting and the selection spans a period of several years with the best wines from the best areas. This will be a great opportunity to indulge your palate with delicate drops from the world's finest wine areas.

We are currently cooking up several other tastings, including a previously mentioned Bordeaux 1998 tasting – only with wines from the right bank. We have previously announced that this tasting would take place in 2017, but the collection of wines for this tasting is still ongoing. We are looking forward to presenting them to you in 2018 – it will be an experience!
