Catwalk in the Auction House

In recent years, we have seen a rising interest in our auctions with jewellery, wristwatches and fashion. The new initiative with opening up the auction house for the fashion industry is therefore part of an increased focus on these fashion auctions, as well as inviting guests from another creative sector into the auction house. It is especially interesting for us to work with Baum & Pferdgarten, since they have managed to combine classical clothing design with a modern touch – an approach we recognize from our own work where classical art, design and antiques are combined with an increased focus on jewellery, wristwatches and fashion. "We complement each other in this way and are a great match," says Alexa Bruun Rasmussen, who took the initiative to the big event where more than 300 invited fashion people, bloggers and buyers from all over the world attended the show.

The fashion show was a great success, and the people from Baum & Pferdgarten are also very happy with the collaboration:

Fashion Auctions and Valuation Events

At Bruun Rasmussen we have held online fashion auctions since March 2012 and sold exclusive handbags from Hermès, Chanel and Louis Vuitton at the international auctions in Bredgade since March 2013. There are online auctions for jewellery, wristwatches, fashion, handbags and accessories each Wednesday at 8 pm, and the next traditional auction in Bredgade will be held between 14 and 28 September.

For the third consecutive year, we participate in Bredgade Open, which takes place on Friday, 18 August. The street is filled with different design and art exhibits, as well as food and refreshments. From 3 to 8 pm you can explore a variety of free activities, including a display of modern Danish art in Bredgade 33, where we can also offer you a glass of wine and an introduction to our online auctions.

The next day we also invite you to Bredgade, where we can present approximately 50-60 contemporary pieces of artwork from our online auctions. Come by for a conversation about modern and contemporary art and be inspired to add a new piece to your home, art collection or as a gift. The focus is on high-quality art at reasonable prices with estimates from DKK 1,000 and upwards. In short, a good mix of new names such as Augusta Atla, Ferdinand Ahm Krag and Ida Kvetny as well as well-known artists such as Michael Kvium, Kaspar Bonnén and Mogens Andersen. If it is the first time you try to bid at an auction, then it is also a great opportunity to get an introduction on how to do it.
