Consignment Deadlines

Consignments for online auctions can be made on an ongoing basis. The consignment deadlines for the upcoming international auction are as follows:

• Oriental art: 10 October

• Silver and ceramics: 12 October

• Jewellery, wristwatches, antique furniture and carpets: 17 October

• Fine art and Russian art: 24 October

• Modern art, design and lamps: 31 October

High Demand and Impressive Hammer Prices 

Our auctions are gaining increased international attention, and we continue to match international prices. This is due to our expertise within many specialised areas, a focused marketing effort and a network of strong buyers across the world. We have recently completed a international auction, where some of the most impressive prices include:

• Paolo Scheggi: "Intersuperficie curva dal rosso" (1962-63). Red acrylic on canvas. Sold for: DKK 1.95 million.

• Peder Mønsted: A spring day in the forest at Sæby Å (stream). Signed and dated P. Mønsted 1897. Oil on canvas. Sold for: DKK 1.2 million.

• David Roentgen:German Louis XVI cylinder bureau in mahogany (approx. 1780). Sold for: DKK 1 million.

• Fernand Léger: "Étude pour le Remorqueur" (1917. Watercolour on paper and mounted on cardboard. Sold for DKK 790,000.

• P. C. Skovgaard: "A landscape near Fredensborg on Zealand" (1841). Oil on canvas. Sold for: DKK 600,000.

• Finn Juhl: "Chieftain Chair". Manufactured by Niels Vodder Sold for: DKK 460,000.

• Martin Luther: Letter from Martin Luther to Joseph Levin von Metzsch and Günter von Bünau (1534). Sold for: DKK 420,000.

• Peder Moos: "Museum table" in solid Brazilian rosewood with numerous boxwood inlays. Sold for: DKK 380,000.

• Arje Griegst: "Sunrise Pillar" Ring of 20k gold set with an opal, a rough tourmaline and numerous diamonds. Georg Jensen's Silver Smithy in Paris, 1963. Sold for DKK 360,000.

• Roman sculptural fragment in the form of a foot with sandal. Roman Imperial Period: DKK 260,000.

• Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye: Circular stoneware bowl with turquoise green glaze. Sold for: DKK 100,000.
