A world of images
In a world drowning in images, in which virtually anyone armed with a smartphone or a tablet can call themselves a photographer as they snap snippets of everyday life and major life events, good photography has not lost any of its fascination.
We are currently seeking photographic art and documentary photography of international calibre for our upcoming photography auction on 17 June. The auction will take place during the Copenhagen Photo Festival, the Nordic Region’s largest photography festival, and it is presented in the festival programme. We are therefore seeking older and modern documentary photography from all over the world as well as modern art photography by Nordic and international artists such as Araki, Olafur Eliasson, Nicolai Howalt and Trine Søndergaard, to name but a few. The deadline for consignment to the photography auction is 26 May.
International exposure and good hammer prices
Bruun Rasmussen’s auctions always attract press interest and a large international following, ensuring the best possible exposure to our extensive clientele in Denmark and abroad, and that the works achieve a hammer price that reflects their value in an international context.
In addition to our canvassing of potential customers at home and abroad, details of the photography auction are sent directly to the inboxes of the more than 40,000 customers who follow our auctions via our newsletters.
