All items derive from the collection of Paul Hestbek Jensen (1870-1948) who in the beginning of the 20th century ran a combined bookstore and art gallery in Fredericia. From this store he sold ceramics from Søren Kongstrand's workshop. Over the years, and due to his friendship with the artist, Hestbek Jensen was therefore able to build an impressive personal collection of Kongstrand ceramics. Later, this collection was passed on to his family, and it is items from this collection that are now offered for sale.
