Potpourri vases
Auction 750, lot 401
The vases are decorated with a portrait in profile in black of Queen Julianne Marie and crown price Frederik in cartouches, on the opposite side inscription reading “Juliane Marie 1781” and “Friderich 1781”. Edge ribbon shaped a la grecque. Each with handle in the form of twisted branches with repoussé flowers and ribbons, lid bud in form of putti sitting on garland of flowers.
