This ring bearing the crowned monogram of the Duke and the Duchess of Cumberland was presented as a gift to a governor of the Danish West Indies and has since been in the ownership of the family. The ring, which has previously been used as a brooch, is estimated at EUR 13,000 – 16,000.

An elegant enamel, pearl and diamond necklace, which at one time belonged to Grand Duchess Olga Romanov, who was the youngest daughter of Tsar Alexander III and Princess Dagmar. The item was sold at auction, at which the current owner’s mother acquired it. The necklace is estimated at EUR 2,650.

Among the other items of jewellery on offer are a number of Georg Jensen brooches, of which several date from the silversmith’s early period at the start of the last century. These carry estimates of between EUR 200 and EUR 670.

Georg Jensen silver

Georg Jensen’s silversmithy was also responsible for an impressive centrepiece designed by Arno Malinovski in 1938. At the centre may be seen a draped woman surrounded by floating water lilies, and the bowl, which is 41 cm in diameter, is mounted on a pedestal with undulating ornamentation. It is estimated between EUR  40,000 and EUR 53,500.
